First time a Tamil Sangam's Outdoor event in UAE. It is a big record and we together have created History again in UAE. I am sure without ur (great audience) valuable support it wouldn’t hv been possible to have run this show.

The event was supposed to start @ 6pm due to Prayer timings and Sharjah Rule we were forced to start @ 7.30pm (After the Friday Prayer).

The program started @ 7.30pm and finished at 12.30am, and as promised it was Non Stop 100% Excitement, Entertainment and Enjoyment (Dance Performances, Light Music, Mimicry, Karakam, Magic Show)

Apart from Indian performances there were dance performances by UAE Tamil Sangam member's Children and Elders choreographed by Mrs. Sreeganga Ramesh total 54 Children from the age 2 to 18 and for the first time in UAE Adults Retro Dance, Mrs. Ganga choreographed and with the help of Mrs. Chitra organized this Retro Dance with costumes to match the retro feel and remember the then heroes with their mannerisms using 16 pairs of performers. (32 elders all UTS members)

The Dance Team (Tinku and Team) who came from India were amazed at the spirit shown by our dancers. They said normally when they do shows they never give chance to Local Dance Performances/Tamil Sangam because they may not perform well and this might spoil the entire show but UAE Tamil Sangam's Dance choreographer Mrs. Gangas Swarag Team proved that Tinku and Team were wrong.

The entire Indian team (Artist) appreciated the local dance performances and said it was Amazing, Well choreographed, well practiced, excellent costuming and beautiful song selection. The way the UTS dance participants both children and adults changed their costumes I am not sure if professional dancers could do the same. Also first time in UAE a concept dance was arranged by Mrs. Ganga Ramesh (Rectangular love story in dance). People were bound to their seats during this dance. The participating kids were extraordinary. Special mention to Ms. Charulatha Sridhar (from India) who learnt this dance in just one day.

During the event there was an on spot game show for the audience (Couples and Bachelors) it was both entertaining and also appreciated by the audience. Winners got DVD Players from UAE Tamil Sangam.

"Suriya Kathir & team are doing monthly 2 to 3 shows in Tamil Nadu, 1st time we tried outside India in association with UTS. We didn't know how to outcome will be, when we saw the stage on 26th Morning we were little bit worried since the stage was not decorated and there were more than 4000 charis. I asked a question to myself will UTS get crowd will the program will be successful. But I came to the venue @ 6pm and I was amazed the way the Stage was decorated, the way the light and sound was arranged and I was very happy to see the auditorium was full. The entire event was excellent and the 26th Nov 2010 event was the best. We are amazed about the Organizing team and the Hospitality that was shown by the UTS Team. Special congrats to Ramesh Viswanathan (Founder and President) and Team. From now onwards Suriya Kathir and UAE Tamil Sangam will do lots of events together for our Tamil People."
