Dr. J.S. Rajkumar is one of the pioneers in laparoscopic surgery with an experience of more than 26,000 surgeries, with special expertise in many highly complex procedures.

Dr. J S Rajkumar, fondly known as Dr. JSR, was a studious and an enthusiastic medical student, who won 32 Gold medals and the Johnston best outgoing student award at the Madras Medical College . He received four medical specializations from the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom. Dr J S Rajkumar has earned several credits to his years of dedicated service. He was one among the few selected to be part of the First Indian Liver Transplant team at Apollo Hospitals,Chennai and has successfully operated more than 50,000 happy patients till date, and has co-authored more than 114 peer-reviewed scientific papers.
